All the sites that we search for you have been pre-screened and are presented with as much detail as we can make available. Given the vast range of properties on the site, the amount of detail may sometimes vary. To expedite your search, Rooster uses filters that allow searches based on availability, location, rates, images, and amenities.

How do I change or cancel a reservation?
The email confirmation message that you receive upon booking will provide the necessary details to modify or cancel a reservation. Because policies vary by region and management company, there may be penalties for modifications and cancellations. Please review these policies prior to making your reservation by reading the Policy details located on the property details page. To make changes to an existing reservation, contact the local management company that was provided in your confirmation email. Are taxes and booking fees included in the price that is shown?
Rooster works very closely with vacation rental management companies to ensure that relevant taxes and fees associated with each vacation rental are presented prior to completing your reservation. However, in certain instances there may be optional fees and services that are billed separately. Examples of these types of optional fees include pet deposits, cleaning fees, housekeeping, and damage waivers.

How do you protect credit card data?
Rooster takes data protection very seriously. The Rooster booking engine utilizes a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption algorithm and other security standards supported by Internet browsers to make sure that this information is never stored or transmitted in clear text. Once the information has been securely processed by our local property manager, it is immediately erased from the Rooster system. This makes doing business over the Internet as secure as purchasing by phone.
